What it does
Transcription turns speech into timestamped text. The language is detected automatically. You get plain text and subtitle files (SRT and VTT) in one download. It adds no logo.
How to use it
- Open Transcription and upload a video or an audio file.
- Launch the transcription.
- Download the files: TXT to read or quote, SRT or VTT for a video player or an editor.

Common problems
I want to transcribe a video from a link. This tool needs a file. For your own video posted online, get the file first, for example with Download a video by link.
Some words are wrong. Accuracy depends on the sound: one clear voice close to the microphone gives the best text. Background noise or several people talking at once lower it; Noise removal can help first.
