What it is
The Studio is Klipa's online video editor. You open one video and edit it with all the Klipa tools side by side, on a timeline, then export a single finished file. It is open to every Klipa account, the free one included: the editor is not the same thing as the Studio plan, which is a subscription.
Open it at klipa.ai/en/studio, after signing in. Creating an account is free and takes a few seconds.
What you can do in it
- Format: go vertical for TikTok, Reels and Shorts (the frame follows the face on its own), square or landscape; resize with Fill, Fit on a blurred background, or Stretch.
- Subtitles: animated word-by-word subtitles burned into the video, with the language detected automatically, words to keep spelled correctly, and speaker detection.
- Editing: cut, rotate or mirror, change the speed, remove silences, remove the ums and uhs.
- Sound: remove background noise, add background music, get the soundtrack as an audio file.
- On screen: add a title or caption, an image or your logo, or a watermark.
- Timeline: assemble several tracks; switch a layer on or off before export.
- AI: AI Clips to pull out your best moments, dubbing into another language, transcription (SRT, VTT, TXT).
- Files: compress, convert (MP4, WebM, MOV…), make a GIF.
How it works
- Drop a video or paste a public link: the Studio opens on it.
- Pick a tool in the side rail, adjust it and apply. The change is previewed right away; nothing is rendered yet.
- Stack as many edits as you want. The Versions panel keeps your history and the settings that will be burned in.
- Press Export: all your edits are burned in one pass, then the download opens. Besides MP4, you can export a compressed MP4, a GIF or MP3 audio.
Your projects are listed in My projects, so you can resume one later, until its files expire. Keyboard shortcuts are listed in the Studio's Help menu.
Credits, logo and quality
The Studio's tools follow the same rules as their own pages: the same credit rules, the same Klipa logo rule and the same quality as your plan. A montage assembled on the timeline also uses credits, counted by its length (see credits, the Klipa logo and quality by plan). With Pro or Studio, exports never carry the logo.
