Will I lose quality?
Usually not at all: many FLV files contain H.264 video, which we copy as-is into the MP4 (a simple container change). Older codecs are re-encoded at high quality.
Why can't anything play FLV anymore?
FLV depended on Adobe Flash, which was discontinued in 2020. Modern browsers and players dropped it — the videos themselves are fine, they just need a modern container.
Is there a size or length limit?
Files can be up to 2 GB. With Pro, convert videos up to 2 hours.
Does the audio convert too?
Yes, the audio track is converted (or copied) together with the video, keeping everything in sync.
Can you convert SWF files too?
No — SWF is an interactive Flash application format, not a video. Only FLV (and standard video formats) can be converted here.
Is my file kept on your servers?
