What it does
The tool detects the silent passages and cuts them, keeping a small margin before and after each sentence so that no word is clipped. Instead of cutting, it can also play silences faster.
How to use it
- Open Silence removal and upload your video.
- Set how long a silence must be before it is cut, and choose cut or speed-up.
- Launch, then download the tighter video.

Common problems
Too much or too little is cut. Change the silence setting and launch again: the right threshold depends on how fast you speak and on the background noise.
Background noise prevents detection. A constant noise is not silence. Clean the sound first with Noise removal.
